Recently, Anji Maochang Furniture received an inquiry from a European client, who did not attach any product photos. Based on the client’s description, we recommended one of our models and sent the quotation. The client commented that our price was a bit high, so we immediately arranged a prototype and updated the offer.

On the third day, the client informed us that they would travel to China for face-to-face discussions, arriving on September 30th. We asked the client to share reference pictures of the product they needed, so we could prepare the matching samples for their factory visit. When we received the images, we found our initial prototype was already very close to their target product. The only difference was an extra plastic cover on the client’s sample. Even without photos in the first inquiry, our industry experience and product expertise helped us develop a prototype nearly matching their requirements.

We quickly adjusted the sample according to the client’s reference images and finished the revised prototype within one day. We arranged airport pickup for the client, and we agreed they would visit our factory in the afternoon of September 30 to check the samples. The client arrived at our factory at noon on September 30, bringing their own reference sample. They compared our first and revised samples on site and were satisfied with our work. The only issue found was that our seat cushion was about 2 cm smaller in dimension. 

The client hoped to review the final sample during China’s National Day holiday. However, most factories and component suppliers were about to start their holiday break. Right on September 30, we rushed to source suitable accessories and purchased all required materials the same day. Our pattern maker came to the factory on October 1st to finish the final sample. Meanwhile, we carefully recalculated costs and provided two pricing options for the client to choose from. We invited the client to view the finished sample on October 1st, and they were greatly impressed by our efficiency.

The client still needs to visit other manufacturers and compare different quotations. We cannot control the client’s final decision, but we have delivered our absolute best. They have witnessed our outstanding responsiveness, ultra-fast sampling & product revision capability, and solid product professionalism.
